What does an Associate Provost do?
| I do paperwork and research associated with the development of new academic programs and other academic initiatives. I also serve as the liaison to the university's accrediting body, the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools, and carry out activities required of the university by the New Jersey Commission on Higher Education. I help establish and maintain joint and dual degree programs with other institutions. I assist with institutional research activities, and help ensure the integrity of academic policies, programs, and publications. I oversee the annual convocation and commencement exercises. |
