Accommodations within the GCU Dormitories: $ 35 per / night (limited to the nights of Tuesday July 14 - Friday July 16)

Each room has built in dressers and toiletry shelves, desks and lighting.  The University will provide sheets, towels, blankets, pillows and pillowcases.  You may want to bring a clock/radio, washcloths and extra towels. Shared rest room facilities and showers with changing rooms are located in each sleeping wing.  Kitchenettes are present in each wing, and each is equipped with refrigeration for needed medications. The lower levels of the residence halls have vending machines and coin operated laundry facilities.  You may want to bring extra change and your own soap powder / dryer sheets.  Guest rooms have individually controlled air-conditioners.

Georgian Court University is proud to provide a smoke-free environment.  There is no smoking permitted in any of our buildings, including sleeping rooms and the dining hall.

Recreation: The University has tennis courts and plenty of walkways for exercise or pleasure.  Georgian Court University's campus is located on what was formerly the George Gould Estate, and is thus a National Historic Landmark.  In addition, the university's grounds house the Sister Mary Grace Burns Arboretum, so we strongly encourage you to take the time to explore the campus while you are here. However, motorcycles, scooters, and/or rollerblades are NOT permitted on campus.  Also, as the University is not a public park, only legitimate service animals are permitted on campus.

Meals:  In addition to the food services provided as part of the conference, dining is available on campus in the Raymond Hall Dining Room.  Meals are served cafeteria style and are "all you can eat".  Lunch and Dinner feature salad bars, soups, carving stations, pasta stations, and grill.   Individuals with special dietary needs must notify the group's facilitator one week in advance of the group's arrival to be accommodated.  There are also numerous restaurants in Lakewood and the surrounding area, though none of these are within easy walking distance of campus.

Security: The University security department is on duty 24 hours a day for the comfort of our guests.  Extension 2611 will access security from any campus phone.

Telephones: If family members need to reach you during your stay, they may call 732.987.2575 to leave a message.  The number has voice mail and will be checked frequently by the Special Events staff.  Pay phones are on all floors of the residence halls.  We suggest you pre-plan a time to call family members or friends.

Guests with Special Needs: Georgian Court University attempts full compliance with ADA guidelines.  Any guest requiring additional assistance or special accommodations must notify the facilitator(s) in writing, one week prior to the conference so every effort may be made to satisfy those needs.

Office of Conferences & Special Events:  Arrangements for your stay are made through Special Events.  Staff members are available to all guests 24 hours a day.  Refer to the packet you receive at check-in for staff names and locations.  Questions regarding the University's facilities may be directed to 732.987.2263 or e-mailed to
